Cover Artist Needed!

Hi folks, I hope you’re all well and virus-free!

I’m looking into launching a new book on writing with all of the money raised used to buy iPads and tablets for care homes.

At the moment, care homes in the UK are in lockdown, meaning thousands of vulnerable adults with conditions like dementia and Alzheimers can’t see their loved ones. Many residents can’t use telephones for various reasons, and unfortunately, care homes are stretched financially to the bone, meaning buying tablets isn’t an option.

Apps such as Skype and Facetime can’t replace human contact, but they can go a long way in ensuring our loved ones stay connected and don’t feel forgotten about, which for them is more distressing than getting the coronavirus itself.

Initially, the plan is to help care homes out in my home city of Liverpool, but if it takes off, I’ll see what I can do about the rest of the country.

So the book is written, I just need some help with a cover. If any artists out there would like to get involved, please drop me a message!

  1. Wow! I’m seriously considering nominating you for sainthood, Richie. And I’m not joking. What a wonderful idea. Every time I think you can’t top yourself, off you go and come back with another fabulous contribution to society.

Pardon my gushing. I’m desperate to find some hint of joy in the world at the moment, and you’ve won today’s prize: my sincere appreciation.

Sorry I can’t help you with the cover. Just wanted to let you know you blew me away with your kindness.

Good luck and all the best!
