As much as possible I try to add extra layers to the storytelling experience. This sometimes come in the form of audiobook versions, narrated either by myself or professional narrators, original soundtracks that I create to mirror the emotional journeys of the characters, and artwork depicting characters and scenes.
Below, you can find links to some of these extra features. As a subscriber, you’ll gain access to even more, plus new content when it’s released.

Narrated by the brilliant Chris Herron of Tall Tale TV

This audiobook is self-narrated. I thought it was a suitable one given that the story is set in my hometown, Liverpool

Narrated by Chris Herron of Tall Tale TV

I love fantasy music. Whether it's on a video game or TV show or movie, it always has the power to move me. I wanted to bring that to books. It's never been done before, but I thought the structure of Together We Rise would work well for an album. So with the help of some online tools, I created an original 10-track album of epic, cinematic tunes for you to listen to as you read, with each song designed to mirror the character's emotional journey. Listen to one of the songs below.
Some stories are very interconnected. All of my fantasy short stories and the novella, Together We Rise, are all set in the same world. Characters feature in different tales and others are referenced.
However, my writing as a whole tends to explore the nature of good and evil. These are the two forces that interest me most in life. I can explore it in a fantasy novel or a crime story, it makes no difference. I’ve defined my own approach to the nature of “good and evil” and use it to link every story I’ve ever written, across genres and time periods.
So, if you’re looking for a clearer overlap between characters then read the fantasy short stories, but bear in mind that everything has some type of connection.

There are indeed. The following stories are all free to read:
